Welcome in the holiday home of Madeleine and Michel.  The old but renovated house in natural stone is called Mamijana.  It is located on the edge of the village of Mesnil-Saint Blaise near the French border with a great view on the French Meuse valley and the surrounding forests. Description

The holiday house has a maximum capacity of 8 adults and one small child.  Pets are only welcome with the express authorization of the owners and with a higher deposit ( 400 € instead of 250 € ).

The living space is about 200 m² on the ground floor and on the upper floor, and includes 3 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen with a large storage room,  a winter garden, a bathroom with toilet on the upper floor and 1 toilet on the ground floor.  Behind the house there is a terrace with a garden, in front of the house there is a private parking lot for 2 to 3 cars alongside the road.

Fittings

Heating with a wood stove and an oil stove on the ground floor, and with electric heating in the bedrooms and in the bathroom.  (Electricity : 0.26 €/KW, fuel oil 0.65 €/l, wood 6 € per 0.2 m³, visitors ' tax : 0,75€/day/night.

In the living room there is cable television and a VCR.  The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooking plates, microwave oven, kitchen robot, percolator, etc.  In the storage room next to the kitchen there are a fridge with a separate freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a laundry dryer as well as an ironing board for specialists.

Two of the three bedrooms are equipped with beds of 1.4 m, the third bedroom has a double bed of 1.6 m as well as a double bed of 0.9 m and in the 3rd bedroom : one bed for children.

In the village you will find all necessary services (grocer’s shop, chemist’s shop, post office, doctor and travelling salespeople (baker, fishmonger, costermonger…).

There are supermarkets in Beauraing (9 km), Dinant (15 km), Givet (12 km in France).

Discounts for longer stays : 5 % from 2 weeks, 10 % from 3 weeks and 15 % from 4 weeks.

Week stays : arrival Saturday from 4 p.m., departure Saturday before 10 a.m.

 

Midweek and week-end stays : arrival Monday from 10 a.m., departure Friday before 10 a.m. or arrival Friday from 4 p.m., departure Sunday before 5 p.m.

 

Terms of payment : 30 % down payment on reservation as well as deposit of 200 to 250 € depending on the presence or no of pets.

The cleaning has to be performed by the renter at the end of his stay otherwise 50 € will be claimed for that service.
